Roma have now failed to bring home a win in eleven away games, a trend that represents the worst negative streak away from home of the new millennium.
The last away win dates back to April 25, when Cristante scored in the 95th minute against Udinese, completing a match suspended two days earlier due to Ndicka’s injury.
Since that success, between the management of De Rossi and the current one of Juric, as Il Corriere della Sera writes, the Giallorossi have accumulated six draws and five defeats.
This series could continue to write an unfortunate page in the club’s history, approaching one of the worst away sequences: with another match without a win, in fact, the number would reach twelve, as already happened between 1999 and 2000 and in 1966.
The absolute record of away games without a win belongs to a much more distant and difficult period: between January 1950 and September 1951, Roma collected 30 away games without a win, suffering 24 defeats and obtaining only 6 draws.
