he main problem seems to be the salary of the former Barcelona player, the 5 million euros per year he receives represent an unsustainable figure for Betis, who have asked Juventus to contribute to the payment. From Turin, however, the desire was to loan the player with the option to buy, passing the costs entirely on to the Spaniards.

The agreement was not reached, pushing Betis to change objectives and focus on Le Fée, currently playing for Roma and coming off an unconvincing period but whose salary weighs much less on the club’s budget.

The possible transfer of Le Fée to Seville could reopen the doors to Roma’s interest in Arthur himself.

Already courted in the summer, the Brazilian could represent an option for the Giallorossi, especially in light of Cristante’s injuries and the uncertainty over Paredes’ future.

Tuttosport reports that Roma have restarted contact with Juventus, willing to let the player leave even for just six months in order to get rid of his onerous salary.

The Brazilian remains an open problem for Juventus. Not called up by Thiago Motta, he trains separately from the rest of the team and is more of a burden than an asset.

The club has renewed and spread out his contract until 2026 to better manage the amortization, but getting rid of his salary remains a priority to reduce the wage bill.

After a good season on loan to Fiorentina, with two goals and four assists in 48 appearances, Arthur was not redeemed by the Viola due to his excessively high price tag, set at 20 million.

For the Giallorossi, however, the operation could end with an option to buy set at around 10 million euros, a figure in line with the residual amortization value of his contract.
