Roma submit €25 million offer for Feynoord’s Read | OneFootball

Roma is looking for a right-back to replace Celik, who, while a free agent and awaiting a contract renewal, has moved to Juventus.

The Giallorossi have their eye on Fresneda from Sporting Lisbon but are moving on to several other options.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the Roman club has sent an official offer to Feyenoord for right-back Givairo Read.

The Dutchman, born in 2006, finished the season with two goals and three assists in 1,193 minutes. The Amsterdam-born winger has had four various physical problems that have forced him to miss 25 games.

The Giallorossi club has, in fact, submitted an official offer to Feyenoord of €25 million.

The two clubs are negotiating and in contact. Nottingham Forest are also interested in the player, having already had two offers rejected.

The 2006-born player has particularly stood out in the 2024-25 season, given that he hasn’t suffered injuries like last year: he made his Champions League debut, adding 3 goals and 8 assists in all competitions.
