After some pretty quiet – and increasingly tense – days in the transfer market for PSG, we finally have a “breakthrough”.

Fabrizio Romano has just put the information out there that there is finally progress in talks between the Parisians and Monaco over Maghnes Akliouche.

“The agreement is now at the final stages between clubs,” Romano wrote on Twitter.

“Details to be sorted and then ‘here we go’ expected next.”

PSG finally set to add top attacking talent to elite attack

With Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye both looking likely to leave PSG and Kang-in Lee already gone, an attacking addition is vital for Luis Enrique’s team. They’ve seen a lot of Akliouche at Monaco, and will be very confident they know what they’re getting their hands on.

He should be able to settle in quickly and make an instant impact as the attempt to be first team to ever win three Champions League trophies begins.
