According to a report from Marc Mechenoua, Romain Faivre (27) is set to leave Bournemouth on loan in the coming days. The French playmaker has been deemed surplus to requirements on the South Coast and is set to make a move away from the Premier League club in the coming days.

The 27-year-old looked set to leave the Cherries in the final days of the transfer window on loan, but now that the window has closed, his options seem to have narrowed. Whilst the transfer window is closed in France and England, it remains open in Turkey and in the Middle East, meaning that should suitors be forthcoming in their interest, Faivre will be able to get his move.

The former Lyon attacking midfielder looks set to join Saudi Arabian side Al Taawoun on loan until the end of the season. The Saudi Pro League side has agreed a non-obligatory purchase option in the deal worth €10m. Faivre’s move to the Saudi club should be announced on Wednesday.
