Liam Rosenior has slammed the effort of his Chelsea players in their 3-0 defeat to Brighton.
The Blues were beaten for the fifth league game running without scoring a goal and Rosenior did not hold back on his players speaking after the game.
“Unacceptable in every aspect of the game,” he said. “Unacceptable attitude.
“I keep coming out and defending the players, that’s indefensible, that performance tonight with the manner of the goals we conceded, the amount of duels that we lost, the lack of intensity of the team. Something needs to change drastically.
“We need to look in the mirror, I need to look in the mirror. I can’t keep coming out here defending some of the things we’re seeing.
“Manchester United, the result wasn’t there but I felt that we turned a corner. But the general attitude, spirit, was lacking.
“Determination, maybe three or four out of the 11. That’s nowhere near enough for this club. Nowhere near enough.
“I can’t come out and lie, that was an unacceptable performance in every area.”

Rosenior continued by saying he “never, ever” wants to see some of the things he did against Brighton again.
“I never want to see it again,” he added. “The most difficult night, not even just here so far at this magnificent football club, but in my career.
“Some of the things I was witnessing today, I never, ever want to see again.
“At any football club, to be even accused of throwing the towel in is unacceptable.
“I’m hurting, I feel numb, because that doesn’t represent me or the football club in any way and that has to change starting with the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday.”
