The Rossoneri 3-0 away in Terni on matchday 17 of Serie C Now - Group B. Despite the final result, it was an even match for large swathes of the 90 minutes, and 3-0 probably flatters our hosts a bit. However, there will be plenty of disappointment at this poor result on a Sunday on which Bonera had hoped for consistency following the Coppa Italia victory over Torres in Sassari, Sardinia, in midweek.
Despite the array of absentees in Terni, the team managed - despite conceding an early opener to Casasola - to stay in the game for over an hour, coming close to an equaliser on a number of occasions. The clearest chances came at the start of the second half, most notably for Longo, who also had a goal disallowed which would have made it 1-1. Just as the Rossoneri were entering their strongest period of the match, a lapse in concentration at the back saw Ternana double their lead and effectively end the content. Milan Futuro are back in action on Sunday when they take on Gubbio at the Stadio Chinetti.

MATCH REPORT Following a cagey opening few minutes, Ternana took the lead with their first chance. Tito's cross found Casasola, who rose to meet it and headed past Raveyre to make it 1-0 (9'). The Rossoneri were organised at the back but struggled to get anything going in attack. In the 25th minute, Aloi hit the post from long range. The Rossoneri's first chance fell the way of Samuele Longo in the 29th minute but he failed to find the net with his headed effort from Bartesaghi's cross. Milan Futuro threatened again six minutes later; Jiménez broke away down the right and whipped in a low cross, but Bartesaghi couldn't get on the end of it. Raveyre was then called into action as he produced a stunning reflex stop to deny Cianci (44'), meaning the Rossoneri were only one goal down going into the break.
The Rossoneri looked the better of the two sides coming out for the second half. The first effort was made by Stalmach, on his first start in Serie C, with a well-struck shot from range - punched clear by Vannucchi. In the 58th minute, Longo thought he'd brought his side level, turning home from Zukić's header down from the byline, but the referee disallowed it because the ball had gone out of play before the header. A similar action saw the Rossoneri come close once more, Longo again with the chance but he couldn't make any contact with the ball. Just as we were on top, Ternana doubled their lead through Cianci, who profited from a mix-up between Zukić and Raveyre and tucked it home (63'). The hosts' third goal came six minutes later: Casasola again.
