With the 2025-2026 season swinging back into gear this weekend, we bring you our suggested Roshn Saudi League Fantasy picks for the each matchweek, built with a budget not exceeding SAR 80m for the 11 starters.
Anthony Morris - Al Khaleej (5.0M)
Early signs suggest that Al Khaleej have found the perfect replacement for Bosnian goalkeeper Ibrahim Sehic, who was one of their standout performers last season.
New signing Morris started his RSL Fantasy journey in the best possible way, collecting nine points in his debut against Al Shabab thanks to an assist and two bonus points.
With ownership under one percent, RSL Fantasy managers could benefit from a differential when Al Khaleej host Al Fayha on Saturday in Matchweek 2.
Osama Al Bawardi - Al Riyadh (4.0M)
The Al Riyadh defender could be one of the best budget starting-defensive options at SAR 4m.
Although he managed only two points in the opener, his side's upcoming encounter against Al Najmah offers an opportunity for returns for RSL Fantasy managers. His ownership remains at just 3.1% ahead of Matchweek 2.
Wesley Hoedt - Al Shabab (6.0M)
The Dutch defender was among the top defenders in the game last season, with 141 points. And, despite a disappointing start to the season as Al Shabab fell to a 4-1 defeat by Al Khaleej, Hoedt remains an appealing option thanks to his goal threat.
Since that clash, Al Shabab have recruited heavily, including veteran goalkeeper Marcelo Grohe, meaning cleans sheets and better results are more likely to come.
Joao Cancelo - Al Hilal (6.0M)
Even after one game, Cancelo already ranks second among defenders for points - a spot he’s expected to stay within the vicinity of throughout the season.
The right-back earned 13 points against Al Riyadh despite being subbed off in the 84th minute, benefitting from a clean sheet, more than 50 completed passes, 10+ defensive actions, and two bonus points.
Although the match against Al Qadsiah will be tough, Cancelo’s strong form - carried over from international duty with Portugal - makes him a near-permanent pick for any RSL Fantasy managers.
Enzo Millot - Al Ahli (6.0M)
French midfielder Millot began his RSL Fantasy journey with an assist to Ivan Toney, ending his debut with 6 points.
Playing as a No.10 close to goal makes him a threat to opposition defences, while his vision allows him to create chances consistently. At just SAR 6m, Millot looks like one to keep for the long run.
Joao Felix - Al Nassr (7.6M)
Few players have made an RSL Fantasy debut like Felix. The former Chelsea winger bagged a hat-trick against Al Taawoun, earning the Man of the Match point as well as three additional bonus points.
All in all, his 25 points were the highest among all players in Matchweek 1: all good reasons to keep Felix in the team for at least one more round.
Steven Bergwijn - Al Ittihad (9.5M)
Bergwijn rewarded his owners and validated our Matchweek 1 selection by earning 13 points in Al Ittihad’s 5-2 win against Al Okhdood, contributing a goal and an assist.
With Karim Benzema expected to miss the upcoming match, Bergwijn’s role in attack will be even more crucial against Al Fateh in Jeddah.
Juan Sebastian Pedroza - Al Okhdood (6.5M)
Our second mid-priced midfield option is Colombian playmaker Pedroza. He scored both goals for Al Okhdood against Al Ittihad and will have another chance to shine when his team host Al Taawoun. With ownership under 5.5%, Pedroza could prove a smart differential pick.
Said Benrahma - NEOM Sports Club (7.5M)
The trip to Jeddah for NEOM SC's opener against Al Ahli wasn’t the ideal start, but Algerian midfielder Benrahma will be eager to leave his mark when his side travel to face Damac. Only 6.5% of managers have trusted him so far - will he reward them with his first attacking returns?

Cristiano Ronaldo - Al Nassr (14.0M)
Ronaldo has always been a divisive RSL Fantasy figure. On one hand, he is the overall highest-scoring player since the game launched in mid-2023-24. On the other, his hefty SAR 14m price tag forces managers to make sacrifices elsewhere.
However, at home against Al Kholood, Matchweek 2 looks like the perfect opportunity to benefit from the Portuguese superstar.
Joshua King - Al Khaleej (6.0M)
Part of our ability to squeeze Ronaldo into the line-up lies in the availability of a budget forward like King. The Norwegian striker started strong, scoring twice on his debut in Al Khaleej’s opener against Al Shabab. He’ll look to deliver again when Al Khaleej face Al Fayha at home this round.
