Senegal have announced a 28-man World Cup squad featuring Sadio Mané, Kalidou Koulibaly and Idrissa Gana Gueye, with Malang Sarr left out.
According to L'Équipe, head coach Pape Thiaw revealed his list on Thursday for the tournament running from 11 June to 19 July.
Drawn in group I alongside France, Norway and Iraq, the Lions of Teranga will rely on senior pillars Mané, Koulibaly and Gueye to guide a crop of youngsters such as Ibrahim Mbaye of PSG, Assane Diao of Côme and Bara Sapoko Ndiaye of Bayern Munich.
The main question had centred on a possible call-up for Sarr after an excellent season with Lens, but Thiaw preferred other profiles including Paris FC centre-back Moustapha Mbow.
There is a strong Ligue 1 presence, with nine players selected, including Moussa Niakhaté, Mory Diaw, Yevhann Diouf, Antoine Mendy, Krépin Diatta, Lamine Camara, Ibrahim Mbaye and Bamba Dieng.
Édouard Mendy is among the goalkeepers, while attacking options include Iliman Ndiaye, Ismaïla Sarr, Nicolas Jackson and Chérif Ndiaye.
