Arsenal will face off against Paris Saint-Germain at the Puskas Arena in Budapest this Saturday as they look to secure a win in the UEFA Champions League final. The Gunners managed to earn a hard-fought 2-1 win away at Crystal Palace on their way to lifting the Premier League title last weekend. Hence, they would be full of confidence going into this game.

Mikel Arteta will set his team up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make a lot of changes to his first team for this contest. William Saliba, Gabriel and Bukayo Saka could all play from the start of this game.

Defence

David Raya will operate in between the sticks for the Gunners if he can recover in time for his final. William Saliba will continue to function alongside Gabriel at the heart of the Arsenal backline as they focus on keeping a solid shape on the defensive end of the field.

Jurrien Timber will have to pass a late fitness test if he wants to be involved this Saturday. If fit, he would try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Riccardo Calafiori hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Cristhian Mosquera and Piero Hincapie will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Myles Lewis-Skelly, Eberechi Eze and Declan Rice will make up Arsenal’s midfield. All three of them need to move the ball well if the Gunners are to create enough chances to win this cup final against PSG this weekend.

The Premier League champions will have Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard on the bench. Both of them will have to wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Gabriel Martinelli will try to prove his worth on the left flank, while Bukayo Saka looks to weave his magic from the right wing. Viktor Gyokeres will spearhead Arsenal’s attack up top. He has to figure out a way to be a constant menace in the final third.

Mikel Merino, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus will make up the numbers on Arteta’s bench.
