Salomé Prat rescinds Benfica contract to join Valencia until 2028

Salomé Prat has terminated her Benfica contract and joined Valencia’s women’s team on a deal running until 30 June 2028, the Spanish club confirmed, describing the French forward as quick, technically skilled and versatile.

The 24-year-old links up with Mikel Crespo’s squad.

She arrives after a season with Logroño on loan from Benfica, a spell in Spanish football that preceded a permanent move to Valencia.

Born in France, she came through Toulouse’s youth system, then played college football in the United States for High Point and Iowa State, before returning to Europe to begin her professional career.

In 2024 she signed for Torreense, making her senior debut, then moved to Benfica. After that stint and the loan to Logroño, she will now continue her career in Spain.
