With four league games to play, the Bees sit first in the table with 54 points, with Bromley close behind in second with 49 points.
The Bees still hold a game in hand over Bromley, with the two sides set to face off again at Bromley on Sunday 11 May.
Speaking on the upcoming clash with Denham, Read said Brentford would be expecting a tough challenge: "We can’t underestimate them, like we don’t underestimate anyone in the league.
"We just need to play our game and do what we do really.
'We can’t underestimate them, like we don’t underestimate anyone in the league. We just need to play our game and do what we do really'
While the end of the season is near and the Bees sit at the top of the table, Read stated that the side is looking no further than the game in front of them, as Bromley continue to rack up wins too.
“It’s very important, as we’ve been doing all season, that we go game-by-game and just keep checking them off one-by-one,” said Read.
“We’ve got a cup final in the middle, so whatever the game is that weekend, that’s what we’re focusing on, just doing what we do and making sure we get the three points on a Sunday.”
Tuesday’s fixture is the second of four-straight away games and will see Brentford return to a grass pitch.
With Bedfont Sports Club’s 3G pitch becoming such a force for the Bees, Read said they would need to take extra care on the ball come Tuesday night.
“We just continue to do what we do, however, we do have those times where we just need to take extra care on the first touch depending on the quality of the grass pitch,” she explained.
“We like to move the ball quickly, we obviously are a passing team, we move the ball wide, and we move it through the middle. It’s just making sure that we take that extra bit of care when doing so.”
With Bromley fresh off a big win against Whyteleafe last time out, the gap between the two teams in the table remains tight with a handful of games remaining.
Read said the Bees would continue to focus on themselves, however, as they have done throughout the entire league campaign to date.
“We’re not really focusing on anybody else, we can only control what we can do, so we’re just making sure we go game-by-game, moving closer and closer towards that league title and promotion,” she said.
Brentford fought out a tough 3-0 win over league rivals Leatherhead last time out, making it 18-straight league wins this season.
Following a tight first half against the third-placed outfit, Lucy Potter’s header found the back of the net on the brink of half-time to give the Bees the lead away from home.
Two goals in 10 minutes from Maddie Phillips early in the second half ensured Karleigh Osborne’s side enjoyed some breathing room across the rest of the second half, eventually claiming all three points.
Crucial saves from goalkeeper Lilly Hadrava helped secure the side’s first clean sheet since their 5-0 win over South London in March.
Previously against Denham, the Bees cruised to a 6-2 victory at Bedfont Sports Club under lights.
Chloe Logie netted twice in the first half, Kirsty Matthews and Mollie Holmes each adding one goal to give the Bees a strong lead at the break.
Ashley Cheatley scored a second-half brace to secure the three points for Osborne’s side.
Denham United have enjoyed a strong season to date, with the side sitting fourth in the league table with 11 wins, two draws and six losses coming into Tuesday night’s game.
It has been a mixed bag for Denham since Christmas. They kicked off the new year with a 4-0 League Cup loss to Fulham, before reeling off three league wins in their next four games.
They followed that with back-to-back draws before losing two-straight games to Richmond & Kew and Clapton Community last time out.
Jenny Nagle has led the way up front with 19 goals from 21 appearances, with Sofia Harris also impressing with 14 goals in 21 games.
There will be updates from the game against Denham on social media, as well as a match report on the club's official website and app.
