The storm surrounding San Siro has reignited as the Comitato Sì Meazza pushes for full transparency over the planned sale and redevelopment of the stadium by Inter and AC Milan.

According to Calcio e Finanza, the group has filed an expanded complaint with the Corte dei Conti, intensifying pressure on the institutions involved and challenging the latest developments in the project.

The committee argues that the heritage restrictions on the second tier of San Siro have already been in force since January 2025.

They have submitted an additional memorandum consisting of 56 chapters contesting both the operation and the process that led to the council’s vote on 30 September.

The focus, they claim, is the need for clarity on the financial and administrative framework that underpins the deal.

President Luigi Corbani has questioned multiple aspects, including the evaluation of the stadium and surrounding areas.

Also, the Tunnel Patroclo project, which he claims has been offset in a way that reduces costs for the municipality.

Furthermore, the committee is requesting access to statutes and founding documents related to the entities responsible for completing the transaction.

For Corbani and his group, the debate is not merely technical, but tied to accountability and long-term public interest.

With institutional and corporate pressures now intersecting, the San Siro dossier once again promises political and legal repercussions beyond football.
