Santos post R$ 684,583.31 profit from 6-0 Velo Clube win at Vila Belmiro | OneFootball

Santos posted a profit of R$ 684,583.31 from their 6-0 win over Velo Clube at Vila Belmiro in the eighth round of the Paulistão on Sunday. The crowd was 13,422 and gross gate receipts reached R$ 1,055,230.36. It was the club's third-largest attendance and second-biggest profit of the year so far.

According to the Federação Paulista de Futebol’s financial bulletin, expenses totalled R$ 370,647.05. They comprised R$ 134.22 for rent and insurance, R$ 126,627.65 in taxes and fees, and R$ 243,885.18 in operational costs.

Only the 0-0 draw with Red Bull Bragantino at Neo Química Arena has generated more income this year, at R$ 804,695.11. The 1-1 with Corinthians at Vila Belmiro returned R$ 564,746.03, while the 2-1 win over Novorizontino brought in R$ 530,980.39.

Attendance-wise, the Bragantino match drew 30,609, the biggest of the campaign to date. The 1-1 against Corinthians attracted 13,693, with 13,091 watching the Novorizontino victory.

In the Brasileirão, the 1-1 draw with São Paulo at Vila Belmiro recorded 10,280 and a profit of R$ 240,744.15.
