Santos set out week plan with Internacional and Cruzeiro fixtures | OneFootball

After drawing the derby with Corinthians, Santos have published this week’s first-team schedule, which features two Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A fixtures. According to Diario Do Peixe, the club face Internacional on Wednesday then Cruzeiro on Sunday.

Work begins on Monday, players reporting at three pm and training at four pm at CT Rei Pelé. The same timetable is set for Tuesday afternoon.

On Wednesday, Santos host Internacional at Vila Belmiro at nine thirty pm.

Preparation resumes on Thursday with reporting at three pm and training at four pm at CT Rei Pelé, the pattern repeated on Friday. On Saturday the squad train in the morning, reporting at nine am and working out at 10 am, before travelling to Belo Horizonte.

Santos visit Cruzeiro at Mineirão on Sunday at four pm, then return to the city after the game. They sit 13th in Serie A with six points from six rounds, with pressure around the head coach’s future. Both midweek and weekend opponents have yet to win in the competition.
