Ministério Público de São Paulo has summoned Corinthians president Osmar Stabile to give evidence on Thursday 6 in a probe into security contracts.

According to Sport Insider, one of the firms later examined lacked Federal Police authorisation to operate. Stabile previously postponed a June hearing at his defence’s request.

The inquiry began after Mega Assessoria Operacional Ltda handled club security in September and October 2025. Prosecutors led by Cássio Conserino say Mega had no Federal Police licence or formal contract, and issued three invoices totalling R$ 676,600.

Mega was registered to Fernando José da Silva, known as Nandão, then the social club’s operations manager and now at CT Joaquim Grava. He told investigators he set it up at former administrative director Fábio Soares’s request to pay security staff, a structure prosecutors are testing for possible rule circumvention.

The probe later widened to Bear Security, which has provided personal protection for Stabile and his family since July 2025. Investigators say Corinthians is its sole client, with about R$ 587 thousand paid through 12 invoices, and they are reviewing its authorisation status.

Other officials have already given evidence, and the case remains open to determine criminal liability or closure. In a parallel inquiry on possible judicial intervention at Corinthians, Luiz Ambra Neto has set an in-person hearing with Stabile for Monday 10, after the CSMP rejected the club’s appeal. Any intervention bid would go to the courts via public civil action.
