Sean Dyche jokes with Spurs fan amid Tottenham rumours | OneFootball

Sean Dyche has laughed off talk of Tottenham after a Spurs fan approached him in a London pub, with the out-of-work coach awaiting his next Premier League challenge.

"It is brilliant. Honestly, I was in a pub right by my house. While I was drinking my beer, a bloke said, 'Oh, you are said to be in talks with Spurs.' I replied, 'Unless you work for them and they are in The Seven Stars having a pint of Guinness, it is very unlikely'." He told TalkSport.

"No, I am not. I am with you, mate," he added, referring to the rumour linking him to Spurs. Dyche was dismissed by Nottingham Forest in mid-February, 114 days after arriving to replace Ange Postecoglou.

He has been linked with Tottenham should Igor Tudor be dismissed early. Spurs are 17th in the Premier League and in danger of relegation.

"When you are in my situation, out of work, you get hounded to death by clickbait headlines, do you not?"
