Sébastien Pocognoli names 22-man Monaco squad for Lyon trip on Sunday | OneFootball

AS Monaco travel to Lyon on Sunday for Ligue 1’s 27th round, riding five successive wins, with Sébastien Pocognoli able to recall Eric Dier and Krépin Diatta.

The pair are named in a 22-man squad for the 15:00 kick-off. Dier and Diatta return after calf and thigh problems sustained on 24 January and 21 February respectively.

On Friday, Pocognoli said Diatta was in good shape, Pape Cabral had resumed partial work and Dier had enjoyed a good week. He noted there was one more session on Saturday and, if all went well, some players could be cleared to return.

He has called up 22 players rather than the usual 21, which may suggest uncertainty over one of them. Two will watch from the stands, one goalkeeper and one outfield player.
