According to L'Équipe, Rennes could turn to Sébastien Tambouret, the reserve-team coach, to oversee the match against PSG while they work to finalise a successor to Habib Beye, with Franck Haise considered the priority.

The indication on Tuesday afternoon was that he could be on the bench for matchday 22 of L1 on Friday at 19:00.

Tambouret previously stepped in at L1 level against Toulouse last season, a 0-2 defeat on 10 November 2024.

If Rennes do not reach an agreement with Haise, other options are being considered.

Names under consideration include Alexandre Dujeux, currently at Angers, and Laurent Blanc, who is free.
