Tommaso Baldanzi returns to Genoa’s starting XI against Domenico Berardi’s Sassuolo in the Serie A Round 32 lunchtime game.
It kicks off at 12:30 CET (11:30 BST) at the Stadio Ferraris in Genoa.
Siegrist, Cornet, Norton-Cuffy and Onana are injured for the home side, while Sassuolo must cope without Candè, Pieragnolo, Boloca and Romagna.
Roma loanee Baldanzi returns to Genoa’s XI after an injury, while Vitinha and Colombo start up front for the Grifone.
Sassuolo coach Grosso picks Pinamonti as a sole striker with Berardi and Laurienté on the flanks.
Genoa sit 14th in the Serie A table with a six-point lead over the drop zone, but have lost their last two league games.
On the other hand, Sassuolo are already safe with 42 points and are unbeaten in their last two outings, with one win and one draw.
There are three more games scheduled for today, with Napoli visiting Parma at 15:00 CET, Bologna hosting Lecce at 18:00 CET and Como-Inter at 20:45 CET.
