One former professional football player has admitted that Chelsea are looking good this season so far but still have one massive problem.

The pro turned pundit believes that this is what will hold Chelsea back from winning the Premier League title unless they fix this issue.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea stepping up pursuit of Premier League striker – not Evan Ferguson!

The Blues won again on Saturday lunchtime beating Leicester City 2-1 away from home. The game itself was very comfortable even though the scoreline suggests it was quite close. It wasn’t. Leicester were awful, and Chelsea were fairly good. They boost on and gain more momentum, and seemingly more admirers.

I think former Tottenham player Jamie O’Hara probably hates having to offer praise to Chelsea, but even he has to right now due to The Blues playing so well and doing much better this season.

Chelsea still have massive problem

Sanchez is a problem

O’Hara admits that Chelsea are looking good but they still have a big problem.

In words cited on X this week, O’Hara said:

“Chelsea are looking good you know. They’re a bit shaky at the back still. Sanchez, the goalkeeper, is a massive problem. He’s terrible.

“Teams that win the league don’t have a bad goalkeeper. When you look at title winners, they all have one of the best goalkeepers in the world.”

I don’t often agree with O’Hara, but I certainly do agree with all of what he has said above. Chelsea desperately need to replace Sanchez with a much better number one of they want to challenge at the top. The defence and goalkeeper is our weakest link right now, and if I was Chelsea owners I would be addressing the goalkeeper issue in January and I wouldn’t even be waiting until the summer.

Chelsea keep insisting on keeping him though and telling us all how much they rate him! Strange.
