Sheffield United add Bristow and Butler to squad | OneFootball

Sheffield United’s squad-building has continued with the club adding Tilly Bristow and Eva Butler to their first team group.

The Blades announced the latest confirmed members of their 2025/2026 squad earlier today.

Teenager Bristow has been on the fringes of the first team squad over the last couple of seasons whilst also representing Sheffield United’s Professional Game Academy League side. The midfielder has now signed her first professional contract with The Blades. Bristow will be a Sheffield United player for the next two seasons while the club hold the option to extend the deal by a further year.

Forward Butler has also come through the Sheffield United academy system and has been in the first team picture during the last two seasons. The player enjoyed regular minutes for Sheffield United in Barclays WSL2 last season. The Blades have recently been in contract negotiations with Butler and it has today been confirmed that she has agreed professional terms. Butler will remain at Bramall Lane this season while her contract will include a one-year extension option.

Four players are now contracted to Sheffield United going into this season. Head coach Ash Thompson will continue to build his new-look squad over the next few weeks.
