The doubts about whether Christian Pulisic will be available against Roma will continue onto the eve of the game, a report has revealed.
According to Sky, tomorrow’s training will be indicative to understand if Pulisic will be available for Milan’s final game of 2024, at home against Roma. The Rossoneri squad resumed training today after three days of rest, and CEO Giorgio Furlani was also at Milanello representing the management.
Pulisic also did an individual session today too, so the final session on the eve of the game will be indicative of the forward’s availability on Sunday. It does however seem unlikely that he will be fit enough to start.
Ismael Bennacer trained with the rest of the squad as did Luka Jovic, so both could make their respective returns after surgery against the Giallorossi, even if they too would start the match on the bench.
The list of unavailable players remains long as Noah Okafor, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Rafael Leao – in addition to Pulisic possibly too – will all miss out on the game.
If the USA international were not fit enough, the trident behind the striker would have to be reinvented, perhaps with Alvaro Morata operating as an attacking midfielder again.
