Roma is working to give Gian Piero Gasperini a great team for next season.
The Giallorossi are ready to rebuild with some key players, but there’s one player who could leave the capital to make way for new signings.
That player is Matias Soulé.
The Argentine starred in a high-caliber first half of the season, only to be sidelined by groin pain.
Since returning from injury, the number 18 hasn’t been able to make a difference, and now new options are opening up for his future.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Roma, under Gasperini’s orders, are working to acquire at least one top-quality winger. Soulé could leave to make room for him.
The Argentine is no longer considered unsellable, and the coach himself is open to a move should significant offers be forthcoming.
The player has received some enquiries from England, but there are no advanced talks at this time.
The coach’s target for next season is Mason Greenwood, and the sale of the number 18 could help the Roman club meet Marseille’s demands to close the deal.
