The fight for Juventus talent Matias Soule is continuing to heat up as now West Ham have joined Leicester City and Roma in the race for a deal.

The 21-year-old Argentinian forward shined during his loan spell with Frosinone in the 2023-24 campaign, picking up 11 goals and three assists across 36 appearances. The Bianconeri are willing to let him leave this summer in order to fund their other targets, setting a circa €35-40m price tag.

Leicester City and Roma have been in a duel for Soule for a few weeks now, with the former offering better terms to Juventus and the latter being the player’s preference, leaving things wide open as the transfer market ticks on.

Page five of today’s Tuttosport details how there is a constant line of communication between Martin Guastadisegno, Matias Soule’s agent, Juventus and their intermediary who is handling negotiations with Premier League clubs.

The Argentinian forward’s representative was seen having a meeting with Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli at the club’s Continassa training ground on Tuesday, where West Ham’s interest was confirmed.

Juventus are still holding out for €30m plus add-ons for Soule, higher than Leicester’s latest offer, and Roma are in the running, even if they’ll likely struggle matching Premier League fees.
