Spurs a possible destination for Marcus Rashford this summer

Marcus Rashford had an alternative destination should Barcelona not finalise a deal with the England forward according to reports.

Barça currently have a £26 million option to make Rashford's transfer from Manchester United permanent this summer.

The La Liga side do not want to splash the cash on the 28-year-old though, with the club instead targeting Atlético de Madrid striker Julián Álvarez. Instead, they will look to loan the player for another season.

However, should Barcelona not come to an agreement with United then Tottenham Hotspur could prove an alternative destination should the North London side stay up according to Spanish outlet Sport who reference unnamed 'reports from England'.

Rashford has played 45 games for Barcelona in all competitions so far this season, scoring 13 goals and making 11 assists.
