Another Liverpool injury has been confirmed. The Reds can't escape them right now, especially coming out of the Chelsea defeat.

Liverpool suffered a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday in what was their third consecutive loss. The Reds' luck appears to have run out after a start to the campaign that saw them look literally unbeatable.

And in really showcasing that lack of luck, there have been injuries. Alisson Becker was ruled out of the clash after hurting himself against Galatasaray - we're still waiting to see if he'll be back after the international break.

Ibrahima Konate is another now being looked at. He's gone away with France but will have a scan to see if he's okay. The defender left the pitch early against Chelsea with a thigh problem.

Andy Robertson, too, appeared to have a knock after the match. He was seen leaving the field limping after coming on as a second-half substitute.

And now it turns out there was a third problem.

Wataru Endo out

Wataru Endo has been left out of Japan's squad for the international break. He's carrying an injury, as explained in a statement from his national team.

“Japan National Team) will be without Wataru Endo (Liverpool FC) due to injury in the Kirin Challenge Cup 2025 (October 10th vs. Paraguay in Osaka, October 14th vs. Brazil in Tokyo)," they've said.

Endo must have picked up that problem against Chelsea. He was a very late substitute as Arne Slot sought to solidify his team - a move that ultimately didn't pay off with the Blues' last-gasp winner.
