The statistics behind the latest fine performance conjured up by Real Betis star Antony on Sunday have come to the fore online.

Real Betis were of course back in action earlier today, making the trip to Leganés for a La Liga clash.

With 45 minutes on the clock, Manuel Pellegrini’s troops found themselves trailing by two goals to nil, owing to a Dani Raba double.

Upon the full-time whistle bringing proceedings to a close, though, Betis had turned things around, to emerge on the right side of a 3-2 result.

It is Isco who has since taken the majority of the plaudits for as much, after playing a direct hand in two of the visitors’ three goals.

But as alluded to above, fellow Verdiblancos star Antony, too, was instrumental.

Continuing what has been a remarkable turnaround in form since his January arrival from Manchester United, the Brazilian featured from the off against Leganés, seeing out the full 90 minutes from his berth on the right flank.
