Roma continues to work to bring Wesley to the capital, but negotiations with Flamengo remain uphill.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the Giallorossi have submitted a new offer of €22 million, but this too has been rejected by the Brazilian management, who continue to demand €25 million, the same offer already received from Zenit St. Petersburg.

The 2003-born full-back, however, has made it clear that he prefers Roma, rejecting a move to Russia and pushing for a deal to be finalized with the Giallorossi.

An agreement between Wesley and Roma was reached several days ago, with the player already having given his approval to the transfer.

Flamengo, determined to maximize their profitability, continues to put up a defensive stance and has no intention of compromising. The negotiations remain open, with Roma evaluating their options, confident that they have the player’s full approval.
