Sunderland confirm Milan Aleksić loan to Partizan Belgrade | OneFootball

Sunderland have confirmed that Milan Aleksić has joined Partizan Belgrade on loan for the 2026/27 season.

Partizan have confirmed an option to buy at the end of the loan, while Sunderland have not confirmed that clause.

The 20-year-old struggled to break into the senior side during his first two years on Wearside. He joined Polish club Cracovia last summer but was recalled in January due to limited game time and to free up an international loan slot.

After returning, he featured only sporadically for the U21s in the final months of the campaign, with Sunderland keen for him to play regular senior football. Partizan finished third in the Serbian top flight last season.

Aleksić, a Partizan academy graduate, expressed delight at returning and said he understands the expectations at the club. He added that he is motivated, ready to work and wants to help the team, thanking Partizan for their trust.
