Sunderland, Fulham and Brentford ‘to battle’ for £20m Ivory Coast midfielder Christ Inao Oulaï | OneFootball

According to 225 Foot, Sunderland have joined Fulham and Brentford in the race for Trabzonspor midfielder Christ Inao Oulaï this summer.

The outlet reports the Premier League trio have watched the 20-year-old closely, contacted his agent and consider him a priority target, with other clubs also monitoring his progress. It adds his profile is viewed as well suited to the Premier League.

Oulaï joined Trabzonspor from SC Bastia in August 2025 and is in his debut season in Türkiye. He has played 2,401 minutes across 31 matches, scoring two goals and providing four assists.

His form led to an Ivory Coast debut in November, followed by selection in Emerse Faé’s World Cup squad. He came off the bench in the 1-0 win over Ecuador, then played the full match in the defeat to Germany.

Any summer move is likely to be expensive, with a price tag of around £20m mooted. The midfielder is under contract until 2030, a position that strengthens Trabzonspor’s hand and could increase competition for his signature.
