Sunderland are among the clubs monitoring Feyenoord winger Anis Hadj Moussa, La Gazette du Fennec reports. Regis Le Bris’ side are said to be tracking the Algeria international after he hit 11 goals and six assists in 30 Eredivisie matches.
The 24-year-old made headlines earlier this week by scoring past Sunderland number one Robin Roefs in a pre-World Cup friendly against the Netherlands. Chelsea, Newcastle United, Liverpool and Bournemouth are also credited with interest, while Benfica are understood to be keen.
"I'm still under contract with Feyenoord. As long as that's the case, the answer is no. But in life, and therefore also in football, you never know what the future holds." He was speaking to Algemeen Dagblad.
"I'm open to all options. If I were to leave, I'd prefer to go to England. But the Premier League is the best league in the world."
Meanwhile, TEAMtalk claims Sunderland have made contact over AIK winger Zadok Yohanna. The 19-year-old is also attracting interest from Chelsea, Manchester City, Brighton, Brentford and Crystal Palace, and has been linked with Newcastle.
