Sunderland’s psychic pony tips England to lose to Mexico in World Cup last 16

Sunderland’s psychic Shetland, Penshaw’s Princess, has tipped England to lose to Mexico in the World Cup last 16.

According to Sunderland Echo, the 19-year-old from Penshaw Equestrian Centre correctly called the wins over Panama and Congo for Thomas Tuchel’s team.

Ahead of the tie in Mexico City on Monday, six July, she was offered two feed bowls marked win and lose, and chose lose.

This is not her first time making such picks, and around the riding school she is usually the first to sense feed time, but supporters will hope she is wrong this time.

Kick-off is at one am UK time, with pubs across Sunderland expected to screen the match after the Government allowed them to stay open until five am.
