Szoboszlai And Mac Allister Get 8 | Liverpool Players Rated In Narrow Win Vs Real Madrid

Liverpool entertained Real Madrid at Anfield earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the UEFA Champions League. The Reds made a great start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Alexis Mac Allister finally broke the deadlock in the 61st minute with a bullet header. The contest finished with Arne Slot’s men earning a narrow 1-0 win at Merseyside.
Let’s take a look at how each Liverpool player fared during the match against Los Blancos.
He made one important save to deny Jude Bellingham in the first half. Mamardashvili was hardly tested otherwise and kept an important clean sheet tonight.
RB: Conor Bradley – 7.5/10
Bradley performed his defensive duties well and was a threat going forward.
CB: Ibrahima Konate – 7/10
He was a rock at the back and made one decent run with the ball.
CB: Virgil Van Dijk – 6.5/10
Van Dijk dealt with the danger when needed and was a threat at the other end of the field.

LB: Andy Robertson – 7.5/10
Robertson gave a good account of himself defensively and made one inviting chance in the final third.
CM: Ryan Gravenberch – 7/10
He made a few crucial interceptions and covered a lot of ground inside his half.
CM: Alexis Mac Allister – 8/10
Mac Allister was a positive influence at both ends of the field and scored the only goal of the game with a good header in the 61st minute.
CM: Dominik Szoboszlai – 8/10
He worked hard defensively and was always willing to have a strike at goal. Szoboszlai was denied by Courtois’ brilliant shot-stopping but secured an assist for setting up Mac Allister’s match-winner.
RW: Mohamed Salah – 7.5/10
Salah was a constant menace in the final third and did everything but score tonight.
ST: Hugo Ekitike – 6.5/10
He was a real handful for the opposition defenders, but there was no goal for him.
LW: Florian Wirtz – 7/10
Wirtz made a handful of key chances for his teammates in the final third but never looked like he would score.
Substitutes:
CM: Curtis Jones – 6/10
He kept the ball well in the latter stages of the game.
Gakpo used his strength well in the final third.
