Tamires debuts as pundit on TV Globo’s Radar da Copa | OneFootball

Corinthians full-back Tamires made her debut as a TV pundit on TV Globo’s Radar da Copa on Thursday.

According to Meu Timao, she will analyse the World Cup alongside presenter Tadeu Schmidt and comedian Fábio Porchat, with the tournament staged in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

The show airs from Monday to Saturday in the evening. She flagged the new challenge on social media last Tuesday.

Her first appearance came hours after the opener, Mexico beating South Africa 2-0 at Estadio Azteca.

This is not her first stint off the pitch. She was part of Globo’s commentator team at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Last year she also appeared on Globo Esporte to discuss Brazil’s friendly with Japan at Neo Química Arena.

Corinthians’ women are paused for the World Cup until next month. Their last competitive game was on 30 May, a 1-0 win over Palmeiras in the Copa do Brasil third round.

They then played two friendlies against the United States under-23s, losing both. The squad were given two weeks of holiday from 10 to 24 June, and return on 25 June. They will have around three weeks to prepare before competitions resume on 17 July against Ferroviária.
