Tanguy Ndombele and Maxime Dupé to start for Nice against Braga | OneFootball

According to L'Équipe, Franck Haise has announced that Tanguy Ndombele and Maxime Dupé will start for Nice against Braga in the Europa League on Thursday at 18:45. He plans heavy rotation in a competition where Nice no longer have qualification ambitions.

Haise framed the tie as preparation for upcoming fixtures he expects to tackle with 12 or 13 fewer players, as he expects five to depart for the Africa Cup of Nations, namely Abdi, Y. Diouf, A. Mendy, Boudaou and S. Diop.

Those AFCON absences are in addition to eight already missing, namely Dante, Ndayishimiye, Abdelmonem, Bombito, D. Coulibaly, Bernardeau, Moffi and Boga.

Maxime Dupé will start in goal instead of Yéhvann Diouf, who is set to play the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal.

Tanguy Ndombele, who made a positive return off the bench in the 0-1 defeat at Angers last weekend, will also start. Haise said he had already planned before Nice-Angers to give him the nod against Braga.
