Football League World takes a look at whether West Ham United's relegation to the Championship has affected Jarrod Bowen's wages
West Ham United star man, Jarrod Bowen, should be prolific in the Championship if the London Stadium outfit win the battle to retain his services in the summer transfer window.
The England winger scored nine goals and registered 11 assists in the recently concluded Premier League season, but it wasn't enough to keep the Hammers in the top flight.
Bowen got himself on the scoresheet when Nuno Espirito Santo's men beat Leeds United 3-0 in the final game of the campaign, but Tottenham Hotspur's victory over Everton consigned the East Londoners to relegation.
West Ham are now facing a vital summer transfer window as they look to rebuild themselves so they can return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

The Hammers will have to sell some of their key assets this summer, following their relegation to the Championship.
Espirito Santo's side have not plied their trade in the second tier since the 2011/12 season, when they defeated Blackpool 2-1 in the play-off final, thanks to Ricardo Vaz Te's late winner.
According to the Daily Mail, the London Stadium outfit are prepared to sell nine players to help them raise £100million after exiting the Premier League.
Recouping that fee will be made easier by the fact that West Ham want £80m for Mateus Fernandes, amid interest from the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal, as per the Mail.
Midfielder Fernandes, formerly of Southampton, has suffered two consecutive relegations from the top flight, but has done enough to impress some of the Premier League's top clubs.
Meanwhile, according to The Sun, the Hammers have told transfer suitors, including Chelsea, Man United, and Newcastle United, that they want to keep captain Bowen.
Chelsea have entered a new era under Xabi Alonso, while the Red Devils need more strength in depth, after former West Ham midfielder and ex-Middlesbrough boss Michael Carrick steered them to the Champions League.
Newcastle boss Eddie Howe needs all the help he can get in the transfer market following the Magpies' subpar Premier League season, and Bowen is a strong top-flight player.
The Sun's report added that Bowen earns £100,000 a week for the Hammers, and his wages aren't due to reduce following his side's relegation to the Championship.

Bowen is a modern-day West Ham great, whose career-best return of 20 goals and 10 assists came while playing for the East London outfit during the 2023/24 season.
Furthermore, he scored the winning goal when the Hammers defeated Fiorentina 2-1 in the Conference League final in 2023.
Bowen deserves to remain in the Premier League, rather than dropping to the Championship, in terms of his footballing ability, but he has close ties to the London Stadium outfit.
The 29-year-old's wife, Dani Dyer, is the daughter of celebrity West Ham supporter Danny Dyer.
Regardless of his family links to the East London club, the 22-cap England international, who has one Three Lions goal, would further cement his status as a Hammers cult hero by firing them back to the Premier League.
