The FIFA World Cup is the biggest stage in international football, but if we’re being real, it’s also a fashion show where stylish kits become iconography in the sport’s history.
We have had a look through all of the jerseys we will see at the 2026 edition and, to be honest, there are a lot of mediocre offerings. Nike have yet again served up a range of disappointments.
But there are a number of outstanding kits that could go down as all-time greats. Adidas are once again the MVPs in this regard, producing tops that lean on nostalgia but with a modern flavour.

Let’s start with the co-hosts, shall we? Mexico always have the sauce when it comes to World Cup kits and this year’s edition is no exception. I am a sucker for an Aztec pattern; this one is not as eye-catching as previous efforts, but it draws you in nonetheless.

Pinstripes on a jersey are very welcome here at The Football Faithful towers. Japan’s multi-coloured approach is a fresh take on it, while the thick black collar and details are very well done.
Adidas are going out with a bang. The kit manufacturer has supplied the German national team for over 70 years, but their relationship ends in 2027 when Nike will take over.
Ahead of their final tournament together, Adidas have combined two of the most iconic Germany kits to create an absolute beauty.

How do we feel about yellow kits, folks? They’re not for everyone, but Ghana’s away kit is a delight. Puma have based the pattern on Accra’s Makola Market, and the black star is always a nice touch.

This feels like classic Adidas. Bold design with bright colours that don’t overwhelm. Put it straight into my shopping cart.

Another kit with the Trefoil logo, Curaçao will be playing at their first World Cup in this banger of a top. The combination of dark blue on soft yellow with the multi-coloured stripes is perfect. This might be the best of the lot.

Last but not least, World Cup champions Argentina will be rocking this bold number when they defend their title in North America. I’ve seen it described as “garish” (derogatory), but I think it’s going to look great on the players during the tournament. And in a world where so many kits feel identical, this gamble is much appreciated and approved.
