The Derby in Perth ends 1-1: Nkunku levels Dimarco's opener | OneFootball

PERTH - Il primo Derby della stagione non metteva in palio punti o trofei, ma porta comunque con sé una scia di emozioni che solo la sfida tra Inter e Milan è in grado di generare. L'Optus Stadium di Perth ha fatto da cornice all'amichevole tra nerazzurri e rossoneri, iniziata con l'immagine delle due squadre riunite a centrocampo con la maglia numero 6 di Franco Baresi stesa a terra, in ricordo dello storico capitano del Milan venuto a mancare il 31 luglio: il match è terminato in pareggio, un 1-1 deciso dalle reti di Federico Dimarco e Christopher Nkunku, al termine di 90 minuti giocati a ritmi blandi, tipici del calcio di agosto, interrotti da fiammate intermittenti delle due squadre. Cristian Chivu può trarre indicazioni importanti sul livello di preparazione fisica della sua squadra a diciassette giorni dal debutto in campionato, in attesa dell'ultima amichevole della tournée in cui i nerazzurri affronteranno la Juventus sabato 8 agosto. Le squadre si studiano e affondano poco, ma è il Milan a farsi preferire in avvio con una pressione organizzata e delle iniziative in verticale. Molto coinvolto Loftus-Cheek, che al 18' crea l'occasione migliore del primo tempo scappando via sulla fascia destra: l'inglese arriva in area, rientra e appoggia per Musah, che arriva in corsa e calcia a colpo sicuro centrando il palo alla destra di Martinez. L'Inter inizia a prendere il controllo del gioco intorno al 25', facendo girare il pallone e cercando di liberare gli esterni sulle fasce per il cross. Sul finire della prima frazione sono due traversoni di Bastoni a creare pericoli nella difesa rossonera: il primo viene deviato da Pio Esposito, il secondo trova una conclusione al volo di Zielinski, ma entrambi si spengono tra le braccia di Torriani. Nella ripresa il copione cambia: l'Inter torna in campo più aggressiva, alzando il ritmo e la pressione, e proprio da un recupero di palla a centrocampo di Pavard nasce l'azione del vantaggio nerazzurro. Il francese trova Lavelli, appena entrato, al limite dell'area: l'attaccante è eccezionale nella protezione del pallone e nell'imbucata per l'inserimento di Barella, che dal lato destro dell'area mette in mezzo un rasoterra che premia il taglio di Dimarco. L'esterno nerazzurro deve solo spingere in porta; al 54' l'Inter si porta in vantaggio e subito dopo sfiora il raddoppio, con una conclusione in corsa di Mkhitaryan che sfiora il palo. Amorim legge la difficoltà della sua squadra e risponde con otto cambi: entrano tra gli altri Nkunku, Modric, Leao e Gonçalo Ramos, e il Milan si rende pericoloso con una combinazione che porta il numero 10 portoghese da solo in area. Bravissimo Provedel, che ne capisce le intenzioni e si tuffa in anticipo per intercettare il passaggio verso Nkunku. Anche Chivu fa ruotare i suoi uomini: trovano i primi minuti Calhanoglu e Bonny, la partita prosegue blanda con qualche sporadica accelerazione, ma all'83' arriva l'episodio che rimette in partita i rossoneri. Nkunku si inserisce in area e viene seguito da Carlos Augusto: tra i due c'è un lieve contatto e l'arbitro indica il dischetto, su cui si presenta proprio Nkunku. Il suo destro è potente e preciso, Provedel non può nulla. Nel finale è proprio Calhanoglu ad avere sul destro la palla del nuovo vantaggio, ma Torriani è bravissimo a deviare in angolo. Prima del fischio finale, Chivu è costretto a sostituire Bisseck, che ha la peggio in un contatto con Estupinan.
