Leeds United begin their US pre-season on 25 July against Wrexham in Tampa. Attention turns to how Daniel Farke could line up amid expected absences and a possible debut for Harry Wilson.

Leeds are expected to confirm the signing of Harry Wilson shortly, and the Welshman’s first outing could come against Wrexham in roughly two and a half weeks.

In goal, Lucas Perri is currently the sole senior option unless an agreement can be struck with Karl Darlow. The report indicated Alex Cairns is set to extend his stay, though he remains behind the Brazilian.

Joe Rodon could feature after an excellent 2025/26 and is entering his fourth year as a Leeds player. Sebastiaan Bornauw, omitted from Belgium’s World Cup squad and recently in Thailand, should be fresh for a centre-back berth.

Jaka Bijol might be asked to start on the left of a back three, covering the gap left by £20m Brighton-bound Pascal Struijk. With no left-footed centre-backs in the squad, Bijol is the most comfortable option on that side.

At right wing-back, Jayden Bogle, virtually ever-present last season, will have welcomed a breather as England’s right-back issues prompt questions. It feels like another strong campaign with Leeds, and he could be in the picture down the line.
