Macron and Bologna FC 1909 have unveiled the Club’s new Away Kit for the 2026/27 season: a jersey that reinterprets one of the defining features of the Club’s identity in a contemporary way, its unmistakable white colour. Thanks to the innovative Eco 3D Knit Matrix jacquard fabric, the 2026/27 Away shirt becomes a sophisticated canvas, enhanced by red and blue details that highlight its style, elegance and sense of belonging, marking another chapter in a partnership that has now lasted 25 years.

The new Bologna FC 1909 Away Kit fully embodies the “Fashion in Sport” philosophy of the Macron Style Centre: a creative approach that combines fashion aesthetics with the demands of sporting performance, Italian craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail, transforming every match shirt into a garment that tells a story of identity, style and sporting culture both on and off the pitch. This concept is also reflected in the creative direction chosen by Macron and Bologna FC 1909 for the launch campaign, which was filmed at the monumental complex of San Michele in Bosco with the support of the Fondazione Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli.

The design of the new Bologna FC 1909 2026/27 Away Kit is recognisable for a polo collar with a knitted insert and red trim, a classic stylistic choice combined with contemporary technical construction. The sleeves are finished with blue cuffs and feature subtle tonal graphics inspired by Bologna’s porticoes, along with a fine red stripe. A red side panel connects seamlessly with the piping that frames the upper part of the sleeves, creating a clean, instantly recognisable visual balance.

The three-dimensional jacquard construction gives the fabric a textured surface, enhancing the balance between aesthetics and performance. Made from Eco Fabric using 100% post-consumer recycled polyester, the material reflects the evolution of modern sportswear by combining technical functionality with premium style. Its compact structure ensures durability and stability while maintaining comfort, lightness, and excellent moisture management, even during the most demanding phases of play.

On the chest, the blue silicone-printed Macron Hero appears alongside the Bologna FC 1909 crest over the heart. Inside the back neck, a customised label reprises the Home shirt graphic and features the Club’s motto, “WEAREONE”, together with the Macron logo and the words “Designed in Bologna”, highlighting a creative and production process developed entirely at the Macron Campus, where every product is conceived, designed and created. On the outside of the back neck, a blue silhouette of the Torre di Maratona completes the design, paying tribute to one of the most enduring symbols of Bologna’s footballing tradition and the defining emblem of the Club’s 2026/27 match kits.
