Olympique Lyonnais' last defeat by the capital club came on 11th December 2022 in the Arkema Première Ligue (0-1). If Olympique Lyonnais do not concede a goal this evening, they will have recorded their 18th clean sheet in the Arkema Première Ligue this season. The Rhone-based club have only done better in 2011-2012 (19), setting a record equalled by... Paris Saint-Germain, in the 2020-2021 season (also 19).

Determined to be champions of France!

If they win, the Rouge et Bleue could clinch a second title after the one they won in the 2020-2021 season, becoming the fifth French club to win multiple titles in the 21st century, behind Olympique Lyonnais (17), Paris FC, Toulouse FC and Montpellier HSC (2 each). Ahead of the league final, our players spoke to PSG TV about their determination to take on OL. Starting with Griedge Mbock: 'We want to show our worth, play to our strengths and show that we want to win. It's a title, it's a final. We hope to finish this season in the best possible way, so we're going to play our hearts out and show that we want to win this title.'

Her team-mate and goalkeeper Mary Earps echoed her sentiments: 'We're very focused. We know that Lyon are a great team, but so are we. Our aim is to win the title and play a really big game. Every game against Lyon this season has been close, and this time we hope to tip the balance in our favour.' Finally, our Dutch striker Romée Leuchter, who scored twice in the win over PFC, underlined her confidence in the squad: 'I think Lyon are a very good team with very good players, but I think we also have a very good team with very good players. I hope we can win: we'll do everything to win this game!'
