Several top outlets have come out in recent hours to claim that Michael Olise is Florentino Perez’s big-money signing, and the development has got the Real Madrid faithful excited.
The youngster has already created ripples as one of the most destructive right-wingers in football and was a pillar in Bayern Munich’s recent campaign.
It does, thus, look complicated for the Germans to agree to sell him, especially given that his contract runs until 2029. The €150 million starting price, however, could well change matters.
As confirmed by Diario AS in a decent report, Florentino Perez sees Olise’s signing as a means to shake up Real Madrid’s squad and make a statement of intent to the world that Los Blancos are challengers again.

After all, the team has lacked a high-quality right winger for a long time now, and the lack of a world-class player in the position is resulting in a loss of balance on the field.
With Olise and Vinicius Jr. flanking Kylian Mbappe, Real Madrid will have a lethal and potent attack across the field and will be capable of attacking on either flank or through the middle. That is, needless to say, a massive boost for the team.
Olise, quite plainly, is one of the central pieces to Bayern Munich’s long-term project and it is seemingly impossible to foresee a scenario where they open the doors to his departure.

The €150 million offer looks good on paper and does well in terms of creating an opportunity, but it is unlikely that the Bavarians will open the door to his exit for any price.
For Real Madrid and Florentino Perez to sign him will require far more than funds. They will first have to earn the player’s approval and convince him of the rebellious route to Spain, one that the likes of Jose Mourinho and Florentino Perez will be critical to achieve.
