Marcus Bettinelli, Mateo Kovacic, and Kalvin Phillips are all injured.

Divine Mukasa’s inclusion is an exciting development.

Pep Guardiola has named a strong squad for Manchester City’s clash with Palermo. That isn’t a surprise, given that City being their Premier League campaign next weekend. The cause for concern is the fitness issues that surround Foden, Rodri, Josko Gvardiol, and Claudio Echeverri. The hope is that all four players will be ready for next weekend’s clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The inclusion of Divine Mukasa is an exciting development. The young attacking midfielder is a player worth tracking next season. Mukasa scored 17 goals and added 25 assists for Manchester City’s under-18 and EDS side last season. Mukasa is a player who figures to have a bright future. With his ability in possession, ability to pick out a pass and potential to score goals he is a tantalising prospect. His inclusion in Manchester City’s travelling shows how highly regarded he is at the Etihad.

Pep Guardiola’s side will be hoping for a good performance against Palermo tomorrow. That would set them up for their opening Premier League fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers next weekend. The squad City have named is full of promise and how they perform tomorrow will be of great interest.
