Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has named two players he believes will stop Chelsea from winning the Premier League title.
The Blues made a brilliant start to the season under Enzo Maresca and at one stage in December had the chance to go top of the league.
Chelsea drew that game to Everton, and the Blues are now on a run of just two wins in their last eight matches, whilst they were dumped out of the FA Cup by Brighton on Saturday.
Chelsea’s drop off will be of great concern to Maresca given how well he had the team playing earlier in the campaign.
The Blues are embroiled in a fierce race for Champions League qualification with the likes of Newcastle, Aston Villa, Manchester City and Nottingham Forest, and really can’t afford to miss out again.
Carragher has expressed his disappointment at how Chelsea have dropped off and said he never considered them to be title contenders.

“There was a game where they could have gone top of the league,” he told The Overlap US.
“It looked like it was falling into place and I thought they could make it a three-horse race for the title with Liverpool and Arsenal.
“But I’ve got to say I’ve been really disappointed with them, I never thought they could win the league at any stage because of the goalkeeper and the centre forward, they’re not at the level. The centre-backs are not at the level either.”
Robert Sanchez was booed by supporters after the mistake he made against Manchester City, but he’s now been dropped with Filip Jorgensen set for a run in the side.

Jackson started the season well and has nine league goals, but the 23-year-old hasn’t found the back of the net in 2025, with Chelsea hopeful he will return for Friday’s game against Brighton.
Liam Delap has been strongly with a move to Stamford Bridge, and reports have stated he’s set to leave Ipswich regardless of if they stay up.
