Thiago Mendes missed on-field work and is a doubt for Vasco’s trip to Corinthians on Sunday at Neo Química Arena.

According to Globo.com, the midfielder skipped the last two pitch sessions at CT Moacyr Barbosa. He felt pain in his left thigh during Tuesday’s Copa do Brasil tie against Paysandu, and club footage showed him receiving massage work in the gym.

Alan Saldivia is available again after suspension served in the win over São Paulo in the last Brasileirão round.

Up front, Spinelli has pushed for a start after a strong display and two goals against Paysandu. The Argentine appears slightly ahead, valued for his intensity and aerial threat for a difficult away game.

The squad will train again on Saturday morning at CT Moacyr Barbosa before travelling to São Paulo. Corinthians face Vasco on Sunday at 16:00 Brasília time in the 13th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, and Renato Gaúcho’s side are 10th on 16 points.
