With the 2026 World Cup finals seeing a much expanded 48 teams taking part, that means 16 places still to fill.
There are three winner-takes-all games to be decided these next two days.

On Tuesday, a similar story in two other European qualifying groups.
Scotland automatically qualify if they win against Denmark but the Danes only need to avoid defeat.
Whilst Austria play at home and only need a draw, whilst Bosnia-Herzegovina have to win to automatically qualify.
DR Congo have done amazingly well in the absence of Yoane Wissa, to become one of the six teams that will take part in the inter-confederation play-offs in March 2026, when two of the six will qualify for the 2026 World Cup finals. DR Congo defeated Cameroon in the semi-finals of the African stage of play-off qualifying, then won against Nigeria in the African play-off final on Sunday night, a penalty shootout needed and former Newcastle United defender Chancel Mbemba scoring the clinching spot-kick. Bolivia and New Caledonia have also already booked places in those inter-confederation play-offs.
