Leicester City have confirmed the news that Hannah Cain, Chantelle Swaby and Rosella Ayane will all leave the club when their contracts expire at the end of the month.

The Foxes announced the news via a post on their official club website this evening.

Welsh international forward Cain was a member of the Leicester City side that were promoted to the Barclays Women’s Super League back in 2020/2021. The player has made a significant contribution during the club’s five years in the top flight.

Jamaican international midfielder Swaby joined Leicester City from French club FC Fleury 91 in summer 2024. She has made 31 appearances for The Foxes in all competitions.

Forward Ayane joined Leicester City on a one-year deal last September. The Moroccan international has made 14 appearances for the East Midlands club in all competitions.

In other squad news, Leicester City have confirmed that Olivia Clark and Celeste Boureille are onboard for 2026/2027 while the club are in negotiations with youngster Denny Draper.

Leicester City were relegated to Barclays WSL2 after losing their end of season play-off against Charlton Athletic at The Valley. The two sides battled out a goalless draw after 120 minutes of football before the hosts won the resulting penalty shootout 2-1.

Further squad news will be announced by the club in due course.
