Timber Gets A Perfect 10 | Arsenal Players Rated In Dominant Win Vs Leeds United

Arsenal entertained Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium earlier this evening as they focused on securing a positive result at home in the Premier League. The Gunners made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 34th minute thanks to Jurrien Timber’s effort. Bukayo Saka doubled Arsenal’s lead in the dying embers of the first half as Mikel Arteta’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 to the good.
Viktor Gyokeres opened his goal-scoring account in the 48th minute before Jurrien Timber killed the game just eight minutes later with another goal. Gyokeres found the back of the net again from the penalty spot in injury time as the Gunners cruised to a dominant 5-0 win in front of their home fans.

Raya made one solid save during the game and did enough to keep a clean sheet.
RB: Jurrien Timber – 10/10
He was solid at the back and managed to score twice as well as pick up an assist. Timber deserves to be named the man of the match.
CB: William Saliba – 7/10
Saliba put his foot through the ball when needed and was tidy with his ball distribution.
CB: Gabriel – 7/10
The Brazilian talent kept a good shape on the defensive end of the field and won his fair share of aerial duels.

LB: Riccardo Calafiori – 7.5/10
He was a real threat going forward and has got a couple of assists to show for his efforts.
CM: Martin Odegaard – 6.5/10
Odegaard caught the eye at times but had to be replaced in the 37th minute.
CM: Martin Zubimendi – 7/10
He anchored the midfield well for the Gunners and was accurate with his passing.
CM: Declan Rice – 8/10
Rice managed to engineer some inviting chances for others around him in the Leeds half and ended the game with an assist to his name.
RW: Bukayo Saka – 7.5/10
He was a real menace in the first half and got his name on the scoresheet in injury time.
ST: Viktor Gyokeres – 9/10
He was quite a handful for the Leeds defenders and managed to score a brace this evening.
LW: Noni Madueke – 7/10
Madueke made two key chances in the final third, but there was no goal for him.
Substitutes:
CM: Ethan Nwaneri – 6.5/10
He linked up play well with others around him.
RW: Leandro Trossard – 6.5/10
Trossard caused some problems for the opposition defenders.
RB: Cristhian Mosquera – 6.5/10
He was solid at the back.
LB: Myles Lewis-Skelly – 6.5/10
Lewis-Skelly made two good runs with the ball.
