‘Time for a red card’ – Sidelined Real Madrid star responds to Jude Bellingham’s dismissal vs Osasuna | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Dani Carvajal has taken to social media on Saturday, to respond to teammate Jude Bellingham’s altogether bizarre red card.

Real, of course, are currently locked in action on the domestic front, in a La Liga meeting with Osasuna.

The aforementioned Bellingham for his part featured from the off in the clash, from his customary berth in the middle of the park.

Late in the first-half, however, the England international was sent for an early bath.

During an exchange with referee Jose Munuera in the middle of the park, Bellingham evidently said something which did not go down at all well with the man in charge.

Munuera, in turn, showed little hesitation in producing a straight red card.

The decision marked a major shock, with players so rarely dismissed for verbal offences.

And as alluded to above, since making clear his disillusionment with as much was a fellow member of Carlo Ancelotti’s ranks, in Dani Carvajal.

Still sidelined long-term with a knee injury, defender Carvajal took to Instagram, to write:

“Today it was time for red card,” accompanied by a series of emojis:
